NCFE CACHE ENTRY LEVEL CERTIFICATE IN CARING FOR A CHILD/CHILDREN (ENTRY 3)
This qualification develops the basic skills needed to care for a baby or young child. There is a choice of units – from setting a routine through to healthy lifestyles and the importance of play and learning.
The Certificate requires 19 credits, or pupils can achieve an award for 9 credits.
Work is assessed by the teacher in school using a range of methods. This could include tasks set by us such as designing charts or leaflets, completing worksheets, online research, practical work or oral questioning. Pupils can usually complete the Award in a year.
