Intervention and The National Tutoring Program
Interventions are designed to address specific learning and development needs. Referrals for interventions can arise from teacher assessments, EHCP review meetings, parents and carers and other stakeholders. At the end of a block of intervention, staff provide a summary of the outcomes. This is then shared with subject leads, form staff and any other relevant stakeholders.
Under The National Tutoring Programme, we have been able to extend our intervention offer to enable more pupils to access extra targeted tuition. A pupil will receive 12 to 15 hours of bespoke intervention.
