The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award here at The Oaks helps students to develop skills for life, whilst fulfilling the four sections of the award. This week, the students have been problem solving as a team. They were given the challenge of building a bridge across a large gap. The bridge was then tested to see how much weight it could withstand. We had some very interesting designs and the winning design held a grand total of 4.6kg.
