This half term our topic is Spring. In Art we have been learning a range of mark making techniques, including; drawing and painting on silk, mono printing and using different tools to mix colours together.
We have been using the colour green a lot, we learned how to make green by mixing yellow and blue paint. We have been developing our fine motor skills by cutting leaves and grass out of the paper we have decorated. We have looked at the flower series of print works of Andy Warhol , we have made our own versions inspired by his Pop Art.

For our ASDAN Towards Independence Craft Making, we are combining our fabulous Art work into a Spring display for our classroom. We are very proud of our work, we hope you like it too!
