We have been learning about ice this week. Pupils helped fill balloons with water and paint, then put them in the freezer overnight. We also put some trays of water outside overnight in freezing temperatures. Pupils explored the ice on the light boxes and under the UV torches.

We explored how the water became solid when it reached freezing point, then turned to liquid as it melted.
