This week in 11W we listened to an extract of Charlie and the Chocolate factory.  After this we made our own ‘Golden Tickets.’  We also invested colours in science by making our own colourful lolly pops. The pupils chose the shape of their lolly pop – either a circle or triangle, then added skittles around the edge of the shape.  They then watched carefully as we poured hot water over the shapes and watched the colours run and mix together.  We made these into our own Willy Wonker lolly pops.  We’ve also listened to the Charlie and the Chocolate factory soundtrack to get totally immersed in the story!  What a busy week!
