This half term 11W have been busy sowing seeds and looking after the seeds sown in the Autumn term.
They are learning about the conditions that seeds and plants need to grow. They have explored soil, different sized seeds and bulbs and watered the seedlings. Pupils made mini greenhouses to propagate vegetable seeds which they will plant out in the sensory garden.
As part of their ASDAN Towards Independence programme they have been looking after plants in the sensory garden. It was a bit too cold to garden today…even the water butts were frozen solid!
