The pupils in 11W have been learning about the Hindu festival of Holi.  Holi celebrates the start of Spring.  We started by watching Newsround and finding out that the celebration was to be held this week.  We heard the Hindu story of Holi and watched a video clip of this years celebrations in India.  The pupils have had great fun making colourful artwork based on the festival.  We used paint splodges covered with cling film and had great fun squashing the paint to make our fabulous creations!  We have used these in a display alongside photographs in school.
