Today we explored how many toys use forces to work. We spent some time looking at how different toys operated. We then followed instructions to make our own marshmallow catapults. We explored how the amount of force used altered the effectiveness of the toy. We ‘fired’ marshmallows to test the distance range and had a few competitions to see how far the marshmallows could travel. We had great fun whilst learning some key facts.
