Another productive day in Bead Club! Pupils have been very busy making clasp bracelets today. We made £6.50 from trolley sales too. We still have lots of lovely jewellery left …these would make excellent stocking fillers for Christmas 🙂 See Miss Fink if you would like to look at our jewellery products.

As part of Macmillan’s ‘Big Coffee Morning’ event, staff at The Oaks went head to head in a cake making ‘bake off’. Mr Davis judged the competition, he will have to work the calories off in the gym later!
Pupils were able to buy a slice from the cake of their choice afterwards as well as participate in our organised non-uniform day. Many of our pupils and staff wore green to show their support for the Macmillan charity.
The girls in our very own ‘Bead Club’ have been very busy lately creating poppy brooches. All profits made from the sale of these were donated to ‘The British Legion’. We donated £40.50.
