FBM(Future Business Magnates) is a competition for all Year Eight students in County Durham.  Students work together in a team of eight to create a real-life business.  They do this by completing a number of different challenges based on developing their business skills.  The students then complete a challenge and then are marked by some of the top business people in the North East.  The final part of the competition is when students have to create a presentation that lasts for ten minutes and where the judges are told all about the product or service business that they have created.  These are all based on a number of different themes, building a business team, Researching an idea, Turning an idea into a business, marketing your business, funding your business, and presenting your business.   This years competition is all about ‘connecting County Durham’
