In religious education, we have been learning about one of the Hindi creation stories.
We decided to make an art display about the story; we stamped different fluorescent paint onto black paper to depict the universe forming; we used long brush strokes to blend colours to represent the scales of the giant cobra, Shesha; we made tissue flowers and coloured petals to illustrate the lotus flower that grew from Lord Vishnu’s belly button; we decorated petals to relate to the sky, earth and stars; we printed leaves to portrait plant life; and coloured animals faces.
I hope you like our final presentation…

Until next time.
