School Uniform

At The Oaks, we ask that all pupils follow the school uniform policy of wearing a black jumper, sweatshirt or cardigan, a white shirt or white polo shirt, black trousers or skirt (of suitable length) and dark shoes or trainers. 6th form pupils wear a purple sweatshirt. Our uniform is the same throughout the school year.

We appreciate that some pupils have sensory issues and would prefer to wear plain black tracksuit bottoms rather than trousers, or a plain white T shirt, this can be agreed with school.

Leggings, jeggings and hoodies are not part of our school uniform and should not be worn. Pupils must not wear jewellery, nail varnish or make up. If your child has pierced ears, a small stud type earing may be worn.

Our PE kit comprises of navy shorts and pale blue polo shirt with an additional pair of trainers. Trainers for PE can be any colour.

As we do not have a school logo you can find uniform to suit any budget at a range of supermarkets and clothing shops. We also keep some new and nearly new uniform in school which we are happy to distribute to any family in need. If you have any questions about uniform, please do not hesitate to contact us.
