With World Toilet Day upon us, we’re reminded that clean sanitation is still seen as a privilege in many places. We have been collecting money to fund a toilet or toilet block in a developing country and are well on our way to reaching our £240 goal. The school photographer will be in school on Wednesday 15th September. Please ensure your child wears uniform.
In myths and legends we have been learning about folklore involving the fae folk. We decorated our own fairy doors. We hope you like them.
Today 7B read a story about exploring a new environment using a telescope. We created our own telescopes and explored areas of our new school.

This is an update on the COVID guidance for The Oaks School.
We are going to continue to encourage staff and pupils to wear masks in the corridors and when moving around public areas. Can all parents and carers of all Year 7 and new starters please complete a COVID consent form. We will also provide Consent forms from Thursday.
All pupils will have 2 lateral flow tests when they return to school (3 to 5 days apart)
After this we will send you a supply of home testing kits. If you would like us to continue to support your child to undertake lateral flow tests in school during the Autumn term then please let us know.
Please continue to send your child to school in PE kit when PE lessons are timetabled.
It’s results day for Year 11 on Thursday! If you’d like to come to school to collect them staff will be available between 10am and 1pm. We’d be grateful if you could wear a mask when collecting. Any results not picked up will be put in the post on Thursday so should reach you on Friday. Good luck everyone!
The year 9’s celebrated the end of the year with a water fight . We couldn’t ask for a better day for drying off after!
