Due to the heavy rain we were unable to visit the allotment this week, so we used some of the produce to create Apple roses. They tasted delicious.
Today sixth form enjoyed archery at Spennymoor leisure centre.

Today we enjoyed a Harvest Festival assembly in sixth form , we had lots of fruit and vegetables which we have grown at school. We also had bread and tins of soup etc which were donated by students in the sixth form. We are going to donate the food to a food bank.

The sixth form group three have been exploring the culture of America this term and today we had our very own Oscar ceremony.

Some of the Sixth Form worked very hard at the allotment today. They planted onions and potatoes. They also picked the weeds and watered the seeds in the greenhouse.
The unpredictable April weather meant a visit to the local community allotment was on hold for this week, instead we made pinch pots which we will plant herbs in later.
