Allotment produce

Due to the heavy rain we were unable to visit the allotment this week, so we used some of the produce to create Apple roses. They tasted delicious.

Syrian refugee appeal

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to our appeal for baby items for Syrian refugees. We will be sending all donations on to St Paul’s Church on Thursday so there is still time for you to send items if you have not yet done so. Many thanks for your continued support, as always we are amazed by your generosity.

Harvest festival

Today  we enjoyed a Harvest Festival assembly in sixth form , we had lots of fruit and vegetables which we have grown at school. We also had bread and tins of soup etc which were donated by students in the sixth form. We are going to donate the food to a food bank.

Horticulture

The unpredictable April weather meant a visit to the local community allotment was on hold for this week, instead we made pinch pots which we will plant herbs in later.
