Work Experience

Congratulations to all our Year 11 and 14 students who completed work experience last week. Lots of them have said how great it was and how much it has helped them to develop what they want to do with their lives. During the visits by staff there were lots of positive comments about how they were doing and what a credit to the school they were.

Strike Action

The Oaks School will be closed on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th November  due to industrial action by teaching assistants. The Oaks LSA’s would like to reassure parents of their continued commitment to the school and its students. For more information please see Durham County Councils website.

Well Done Jack!

An article has appeared in the Northern Echo today too. Click on the link below to read about Jack and his book.
